Selling a home can be very unpredictable and hard to place on a time table. Sometimes we’re lucky enough to have a few offers within the first week the property is listed on the market. Other times, we have to bare with a fluctuating market, and go through several negotiations, cancelled contracts and tears before we finally are matched with a buyer whose terms and offer we agree upon. The Real Estate market is not cookie cutter, and patience is a virtue in this business. Any home owner would imagine the sell of their home going smoothly and swiftly, but that is not always the case. Sometimes homes sit on the market for months, leaving sellers waiting day in and day out for the perfect buyer to come along and make a great offer. Homes that receive offers within the first week, and eventually sell within the standard 90 day period all have a reason why they are flourishing while other homes struggle to be sold.
